Mechanized AUR

Automatically build a series of packages from the AUR each night, powered by aurutils and alpm-html.

See a demo ran by me, with my aether-aur repo.

Setup

The setup/ folder is an ansible project that actually builds everything, presuming that aurutils and alpm-html are already installed. You will need to copy variables.yml.example to variables.yml, replacing values within. Then you can run ansible:

ansible-playbook -K playbook.yml

Afterwards, you will have a directory (by default, /var/local/aur) that contains the repository and two systemd units: mechanized-aur.service and mechanized-aur.timer. The timer will already be activated, to run nightly.
